Michael Jacquet III (2015) Commits to Utah

The Utes received a commitment today from class of 2015 WR/QB/S Michael Jacquet III, from Central High School in Beaumont, Texas. Michael Jacquet committed to the Utes during a signing ceremony at his High School today. Ute fans have had a few bad experiences in the past with hat ceremonies, but this one certainly turned out in the Utes favor. Jacquet chose the Utes over the likes of Houston, Indiana, and Louisiana Lafayette. A quick vine video of his selection below:

Jacquet and family certainly score some creativity points as well. Check out the “Commit Cakes” that were made for the 3 guys that committed today. Great stuff.

Some film on Michael Jacquet is below. From his HUDL film, he looks to be athletic and have really good size. He is listed as playing multiple positions, and appears to be a bit of a swiss-army-knife for his team, playing all over the field. With his size and height at 6’3″, I think he has a great frame to be a safety. In any case, Michael appears to be a great addition to the Utes. Go Utes!

Michael Jacquet stats and film

Height: 6’3″
Weight: 185 lbs
